The essay moves through six rooms and moments—arrival at blue hour, the late kitchen, the useful formal room, the walk to the bowl, the quiet morning after, and repair day.\n\nThe feature treats fraternity as a temporary social architecture rather than a lifestyle costume. Its center is maintenance: who notices, who cleans, who gets welcomed, who interrupts the group, and whether inherited ritual can become useful to people it was not designed for.\n\nThe warm light has conditions. The essay refuses to romanticize hazing, locked doors, or loyalty without accountability. It does not claim one house represents every student, chapter, school, or Greek-letter organization.\n\nSix selected Midjourney V8.1 plates are presented as imagined editorial scenes, not documentary photographs.
