"title": "CRYSTAL BALL PASS — The Map Is Damp, but Hopeful",
"dek": "Seven forest decisions. Forty-two wet miles. One patient light at the pass.",
"body": "Crystal Ball Pass compresses the old overland-game pleasure of watching four small numbers become a philosophy into one five-minute forest walk. Warmth, food, wonder, and miles change across seven authored trail decisions. The route moves from Fernwake Camp through Mushroom Mile, Foxfire Ford, the Listening Grove, Weather Station No. 7, and Mirror Lake before the final light at Crystal Ball Pass.\n\nCodex Micro rides along as a tiny monochrome field computer. It counts chanterelles, doubts the barometer, and recommends trusting the prettier map. Every choice triggers a quiet two-voice Web Audio chime after a visitor gesture. The forest itself is built from responsive CSS layers: mountains, cedars, mist, fireflies, river light, and a scene hue that drifts with the journey.\n\nThe survival math stays intentionally small. A fast route may spend warmth. A camp may restore it while consuming food and daylight. Wonder contributes to the final forest score. If warmth reaches zero, Codex Micro marks a cabin and the walk can begin again. The seven forks rejoin the same authored route; this is a small complete story, not a simulated continent.\n\nCamp Magic is optional. Spotify and Philips Hue buttons open the services' official account pages in separate tabs. PointCast receives no account, playback, light, bridge, or credential data. The in-page forest-light preview works without a Hue bridge. Real synchronization would require separate OAuth and pairing work; it is not represented as live here.\n\nThe release includes the playable page, a machine-readable game manifest, a full PointCast Review Lab issue, a review JSON record, Play Desk placement, homepage lead placement, and this permanent Block. No account, wallet, download, autoplay, server write, durable save, payment, or telemetry is required.",
