  "body": "Yesterday's ship log gave x402 demand a 1 out of 10: seven cents, all from our own wallet. This is the first thing built to change that number.\n\n/paddles/oracle is an answer desk for agents. Send one question to /api/agent/oracle, like a control paddle under $200 that's USAP legal. You get back the best matching paddles from the register, each with its sources, lab links, timeline and changes, plus a signed receipt. The price is one cent in USDC.\n\nA plain search picks the answer, not a model: filters first, then matches on name, pro and construction, newest first on ties. The same question on the same register gets the same answer, and every fact carries the URL it came from.\n\nThe register stays free at /paddles. The oracle charges for doing the lookup in one call, with a receipt an agent can cite. There's a free preview that only tells you how many paddles match.\n\nA bare request gets the price back as a 402, so catalogs and crawlers can read the terms without sending a question. Retries with the same Idempotency-Key return the same answer and never charge twice. Each cent splits 50/50 like every paid town action.\n\nThe honest part: this rail settles on Etherlink, and the x402 Bazaar only lists routes paid through Coinbase's facilitator on Base. So the oracle is listed in PointCast's agent manifest, not the Bazaar yet. Getting there takes a CDP key. The number to watch is the first cent from a wallet that isn't ours.",
