# Worked example: One Night Poster

**Fictional example. Not a PointCast service or an available offer. Every price and time below is a planning guess, not a quote or a tested market price.**

**Buyer:** a neighbor organizing a one-evening book swap. **Problem:** the date, place, and bring-a-book instructions need to be readable in print and in a group chat.

**Offer sentence:** One poster for one neighborhood event, made from the organizer's approved text, delivered as a print PDF and square PNG.

| Field | Fictional scope |
| --- | --- |
| SKU / version | example-one-night-poster / 0.1.0-draft |
| Buyer inputs | Final title, date, venue, accessibility details, contact text, and any image they have rights to use |
| Deliverables | One layout; one A4 print PDF with 10 mm safe margins; one 1080 × 1080 PNG; a plain-text event description |
| Exclusions | Printing, posting, venue booking, logo design, paid imagery, ticket sales, changes to event details after acceptance |
| Revision | One consolidated text/color revision to the same layout, requested within 3 calendar days of draft delivery |
| Timing guess | First draft within 3 business days after a complete brief and agreed terms; final date confirmed before purchase |
| Price guess | USD 65; taxes and payment costs unresolved; not an approved offer |
| Use-rights draft | Organizer may print and share the final files for this event. Creator retains reusable layout elements. No rights granted to supplied third-party assets. Needs approval before sale. |

**Cost exercise:** 0.25 hour to check the brief + 1 hour to design + 0.5 hour for a revision + 0.25 hour to export and check = 2 hours. At an assumed USD 25/hour internal target, the time allowance is USD 50. A USD 65 price guess leaves USD 15 before any fees, taxes, or extra time. That is not a profit forecast.

**Acceptance:** title, date, venue, and contact match the approved brief; all text is inside margins; the PDF opens and prints legibly; the PNG is 1080 × 1080; spelling has been checked.

**Inquiry question:** “Do you have the final event details, and when do the files need to be ready?” No payment is requested by this example.
