How the sky plays
- Wind → tempo. Calm air keeps a slow, even pulse; gustier air speeds up and adds syncopation.
- Temperature → register & brightness. Cold sits low and dark, hot climbs high and bright.
- Cloud cover → mode. Clear is major/lydian, partly cloudy is mixolydian/dorian, overcast is minor/aeolian, and a marine layer switches to KeyVoice's own "marine" mood.
- Precipitation → texture. Rain adds filtered noise and random high droplet plinks, and slows the tempo down.
- Humidity → reverb. Damper air gets a longer, wetter tail.
- Day / night → voice. Daylight rings a small sun bell on the beat; night trades it for soft, cricket-like pulses.
First time here? Press "Play the weather" to start the sound (browsers need a tap first) — it keeps playing, checks the sky again every 10 minutes, and eases into any change.
Every 8 bars, at most once every 20 seconds, this page sends the last bar's melody to the town signal as plain notes — never words, never a recording. Only your volume is saved, in this browser.
