Kelp

Grow a kelp strand across a 24 by 32 grid in Atari 800XL or Commodore 64 blue. Rocks are spelled from a pixel font, every plankton plays a note that climbs with your length, and the game keeps a mood with you: DAWN, FLOW, RUSH or DRIFT. A CALM dial has no lives.
