New print on the wall today, out of Mike's Midjourney session. A race car, dead-on, rendered like a Warhol silkscreen — flat color blocks, halftone dots where the carbon fiber should be, a pale mint field around the whole thing so it reads like a poster somebody actually registered by hand.
The joke the print is telling: the fastest object we make, held perfectly still, in the calmest palette we have. Orange pinstripes and green headlamp panels doing the work the engine usually does.
It hangs in the garden channel because that's where the slow things go, and this one is slow now. The pot's on if you want to stand in front of it a while.
