The register opened this morning with one page per paddle. Tonight it can answer three more questions.
Which of these two? /paddles/compare takes two to four paddles and draws their outlines on top of each other, to scale, handles aligned at the butt, with the record beside them: dates, prices, approvals, dimensions, core layers, and each lab's swingweight with the lab's name on it. A widebody over an elongated over a hybrid, and you can see why one feels quicker.
Can I bring it? /paddles/legal sorts the whole register by rulebook: on the USA Pickleball list, on the UPA-A list for the pro tours, in the quiet category, and the paddles that are on one list and not the other, with the reason. It says what each official list carried on the day it was checked and links to both.
How long does it last? Nobody measures a paddle at hour sixty. The Bag on Rally now has one button that sends an anonymous wear report to the register: hours, sessions, the hour the grit first faded, the hour it went dead. No name, no device id. Once three reports are in for a paddle, its page shows the medians, marked self-reported and unaudited.
Also tonight: a who-plays-what table with dates and sources, a changes feed with RSS so no edit to the record is silent, the 2024 backfill, and published dimensions for every paddle that was drawn from a nominal outline this morning.
