What this isn't
This isn't a sleep tracker. It's not a meditation. It's a pad that gets quieter on a schedule. Most "sleep music" apps either play forever (so you wake up to it at 3am) or play for an hour without fading (and the silence at the cutoff wakes you). This one fades.
What's making the sound
Three detuned sawtooth oscillators stacked at chord intervals, through a 24dB low-pass filter that slowly closes over the duration, through a long stereo delay, through a master gain envelope shaped: ramp up over 15s · hold for 1/3 of duration · exponential decay to silence for the remainder.
Rain is bandpassed white noise (1.2–4 kHz). Heartbeat is a 60Hz sine pulse with a 40ms decay, scheduled at your BPM. All synthesized — no samples.
