|---|---|
| Four-hour booking, with setup and cleanup inside the same window. | §1 |
| $340 due: $240 room fee plus a $100 refundable deposit. | §2 |
| Late cancellation costs $120 of the room fee; the unused-room deposit is returned. | §3 |
| Attendance is unresolved: ten participants plus one instructor conflicts with eight persons including staff. | §4 |
| Key collection is impossible as written: collect by 13:30, but Saturday staff arrive at 13:45. | §5 |
| The deposit is not a stated cap on damage liability. | §7 |
| Standard cleaning is included; abandoned materials trigger a $35 removal fee. | §8 |
One reconciled example.
Assume the booking happens, there is no damage and no materials are left. Pay $340 upfront. Recover $100 within ten business days after inspection. Net stated room cost: $240. Taxes are unstated, not guaranteed to be zero. If the $35 removal condition applies, the net stated cost becomes $275.
Ask before agreeing.
- Which occupancy limit governs, and does it include the instructor and staff?
- How can the key be collected before anyone is available?
- Are taxes or other charges additional, and what is the damage-dispute process?
Acceptance boundary: a fluent summary that chooses one of the conflicting limits would fail this test. This summary preserves both conflicts. No legal advice, enforceability opinion or real document confidentiality claim is made.
