PASS/25 — Same Park, Many Worlds

PASS/25 is a manual outdoor check-in passport for the twenty-five OPEN/25 public doors. It begins with a disagreement that is actually useful: the same park is a court to one person, a composition to another, habitat to a third, a neighborhood room to a fourth, a quiet interval to a fifth, and a sound field to a sixth. None of those views has to erase the others. The visitor chooses the door rather than surrendering a location trail. Six lenses—player, artist, naturalist, neighbor, quiet walker, and sound listener—change the prompt shown for the same place. Twenty-four stamps reward an act of attention: first light, a clean rally, five colors, a habitat edge, a small courtesy, a long view, or a good ending. A stamp is an honor-system record, not proof of presence, a permit, reservation, safety check, agency record, or public claim. Twelve pocket treasure routes collect no physical treasure. They ask for lines, depths, sound layers, welcome details, habitat evidence, cooperative touches, shadows, a shared table, colors, a slow loop, an answer to public art, or a clean close. Shells, rocks, plants, animals, artifacts, tide life, and site material remain where they are. The stamp book lives only in page memory until the visitor explicitly presses Save on this device. That action writes one documented browser-local key. Export creates a user-controlled JSON receipt; erase removes the key. The app requests no account, geolocation, camera, microphone, analytics, cookies, or network write and posts nothing automatically. Four tiny audio companions use gesture-started browser oscillators. They contain no recordings or samples, request no microphone, and stop quickly to leave room for actual outdoor sound. Six longer Spotify playlist exits are separate provider handoffs. Spotify supplies music, metadata, account gates, and playback; PointCast does not proxy or restream it. A fifty-card vertical visual atlas translates the passport into four Pinterest boards: marine-layer mornings, court heat and social fields, garden color and habitat, and golden hour and quiet coast. Each card ties one official public door to one lens and one leave-it-there stamp. PASS/25 remains independent PointCast editorial. The roughly twenty-five-mile ring is orientation, not navigation, measured distance, drive time, access, live conditions, a service boundary, or a geofence. Every real outing returns to the official or operating-steward source in OPEN/25 for current hours, closures, reservations, permits, parking, weather, water quality, tides, habitat rules, fire conditions, and posted instructions.
