Plover Roost

Western snowy plovers winter on LA's beaches, roosting in footprints and kelp wrack.

How it is earned

Earned by counting plovers from outside the roost fence with binoculars and logging the count. Dogs on leash, kites elsewhere, and nobody ever steps inside the fence for a note.
