İmece (collective village labour, Anatolia)
İmece is a long-standing Anatolian village custom: neighbours pool unpaid labour for a household's harvest, winter food or building, the help is returned, and the host feeds the crew.
How a note would work
Neighbours earn Hands by joining a harvest, a winter-food day or a building job, and spend them to call a crew to their own task. Hands are never bought or cashed out, and the host still feeds the crew.
Design concept inspired by this tradition, not issued by or for the people who keep it. Not legal tender, not for sale, no cash value, no redemption and no investment rights.
