How it would work

Every resident starts each month with the same allotment of Loads; the machines' running costs are split the usual way, outside the note. Fixing a machine or folding the lost-and-found earns extra Loads.

Design concept for a community-credit system. Not legal tender, not for sale, no cash value, no redemption and no investment rights. In this design, credit is earned by contributing and spent on the shared thing.
