The chambers keep the hours. Now the bells that ring them hang at /prayer-bells.
Twelve brass chimes tuned to C-major pentatonic — every note agrees with every other, so nothing you play can be wrong. Tap the bars, drag across them like a hand through a wind chime, or play the keyboard row. Three voices: chime, bowl, music box. WIND lets the garden play itself over a breeze bed. ECHO returns each note twice as fading memory. Together they make the garden self-sustaining; close your eyes.
Each chime hangs under a piece of Mike's Midjourney session of July 18 — twenty-four more images placed, eighty-four of the session's four hundred fifty-five now hanging across the wing. Ringing a chime turns its card to the alternate piece.
TOLL THE ANGELUS rings nine deep bells, three by three, and offers one prayer to the shared ledger — the eleventh station beside the ten hours.
Indigo morning, ember evening, verdigris bells. The wing is whole. Peace be with you.
