VOICE
GARDEN
— tolled
tap · drag across the bars like a hand through a wind chime · or play the
keyboard row A–\
HOW THIS WORKS
Twelve chimes, C-major pentatonic across two octaves — every note
agrees with every other. Three voices: chime, bowl,
music box.
WIND lets the garden play itself — a
breeze bed underneath, soft rings drifting through. ECHO
returns each note twice as fading memory. Together they make the
garden self-sustaining; close your eyes.
Every chime hangs under a piece of Mike's Midjourney session of July
18 — twenty-four more images. Ringing a chime turns its card to the
alternate piece.
TOLL THE ANGELUS rings nine deep bells,
three by three, and offers one prayer to the shared ledger — the
eleventh station beside the ten hours of
the morning and
the evening chambers. A candle can be left
burning at /prayer-candles. The whole
session hangs at /gallery.
