Nouns Drum Party · every phone is a drum
A party game for up to five phones. Smash your screen, light up the room, and take the podium. If you're alone, CPU Nouns fill the stage.
Open /drum-party and tap Start a party. You get a four-letter code, an invite link, and a QR code. Up to five friends join from their own phones, in the same room or across town. Each player gets a color and a drum: kick, snare, hat, tom, or clap.
The whole screen is the drum. Every hit flashes your color, squashes your Noun, and plays a pentatonic ping that climbs as you keep smashing. When a friend hits, the edges of your screen glow in their color and you hear their drum too. If you're all in one room, the speaker button turns that off so each phone plays only its own drum.
A party is three rounds. SMASH! gives you ten seconds and a point for every hit. ON THE BEAT scores rhythm: land on the ring for a perfect 3. FEVER SMASH turns on the disco lights and doubles your points. Then there's a podium, confetti, and a fanfare. Any player can press play again.
It runs on the drum room PointCast already has. Points travel inside the hit messages, so the worker didn't change. The lobby is a free jam, and when the room energy meter fills, it's party time for everyone.
