Barn raising (frolic)

In a barn raising, neighbours frame and raise a barn for one family in a day or two, common in rural North America in the 18th–19th centuries; Amish communities still do it as mutual aid.

How a note would work

Pegs are earned by giving a day to a neighbour's big build or repair and spent when your own household needs a crew; the host provides meals. They are never bought or cashed out.

Design concept inspired by this tradition, not issued by or for the people who keep it. Not legal tender, not for sale, no cash value, no redemption and no investment rights.
