Red Global de Trueque (barter clubs)
The Red Global de Trueque began with a barter club in Bernal in 1995 and grew into a national network using paper créditos; it drew millions in the 2001–02 crisis, then collapsed amid over-issue.

How a note would work
Nodos are earned by bringing homemade food, goods or services to a neighbourhood barter club and spent there, with issuance capped to members' trades. Never bought or cashed out.
Design concept inspired by this tradition, not issued by or for the people who keep it. Not legal tender, not for sale, no cash value, no redemption and no investment rights.
