The tradition · since 1953
Home exchange clubs (Intervac)
Organised home swapping dates to 1953, when European teachers founded Intervac so families could travel cheaply in summer; members stay in each other's homes, usually at the same time, rent-free.

How a note would work
Weeks are earned by lending your home, and sometimes your car, to a member family and spent on a stay in another member's home. They are never bought or cashed out.
Design concept inspired by this tradition, not issued by or for the people who keep it. Not legal tender, not for sale, no cash value, no redemption and no investment rights.
