A town this size accumulates. 283 blocks, hundreds of doors, two eras of the site itself.
The attic is where the early and the quiet things sit in good light — kept, not redone.
The first blocks
Where the archive starts. Every one still answers at its old address.
The rooms nobody has touched in the longest time. Not broken — resting. Opening one counts
as dusting.
The v1 box
Before blocks, PointCast was a markdown-doc site — dispatches, the original drum room, the
Noun Bells instrument, the /collect inventory. That era was retired in April 2026 at commit
7fea01c and preserved whole, because git is the database. The content came
forward; the layout stayed in the box. The box is now open: the old front door is restored
under glass in /attic/v1 — the v1 wing, masthead and
feed river and all, text verbatim from the snapshot.
The full record since then: /archive holds every block,
/timeline holds the order,
/changelog holds the work, and
/everything holds every door that ships today.
