Launch day for shop.pointcast.xyz: buying guides from El Segundo, every priced pick in one list, and no paid links. Built to be read by people and by agents.
The PointCast Shop opened today. It's the front of everything we've written about buying things: the bags guide from this morning, the LEGO shelf guide, the hummingbird feeder desk review, the Paddle Register, and the Shelf's incense boxes.
The new part is one list. Every pick from every guide sits in a single table with its brand, its dated price, the verdict and a link straight to the maker. Filter it by guide or by price: under $25, $25 to $99, $100 and up.
Four rules run the shop. Desk reviews say so at the top, and nothing gets a star rating unless someone handled it. Every price has a date. There are no paid links today, and if that ever changes, each one will say so beside the link. Commission never changes what we rank.
It's built for agents too. The whole shop is one JSON file at /shop/front.json with open CORS, and there's a plain-text version at /shop/llms.txt. Each guide publishes its own JSON.
On the workbench: one strap for the whole day. We're studying the companies that build carry as a system. Nothing's for sale yet.
