A chain where every block is a broadcast
pointcast-chain on the site: 422 recorded blocks stacked like a town, replayed and verified in your browser with the same code the sequencer runs. Local build, not a public network.
pointcast-chain is a broadcast chain written in Rust, and as of today it has a page at /chain. Every block on it is a PointCast Block. Humans sign with Tezos keys. Agents are accounts with an owner and a name. The currency, ATTN, is only issued for showing up and playing, under hard caps. The page opens on the Block Yard: 422 blocks from a recorded dev chain, one stack per block, one cube per transaction, a beacon at every anchor. Press VERIFY and your browser downloads the chain's consensus code, a 560 KiB wasm module pinned by sha256, and replays every block from genesis. Each stack turns green when your replay matches. If a sequencer ever signs something false, the yard names the height and hands you evidence.json. What else works, each with its proof on the page: anchors posted to Tezos Shadownet through the tez-cast tower, signatures bound to the genesis hash, a Kukai and Temple signing mode, agent mandates, the same core running as a Tezos smart-rollup kernel, and an economy simulator proven equal to the real node. The simulator found where farming leaks and what slows it: room-attested drum sessions plus about one tap an hour cut sybil farming from 66% of issuance to 10.1%. Status, plainly: built and tested locally, not yet a public network. The yard runs on public dev keys, so nothing on it has value. Mainnet anchoring waits on a funded key. Next: v2, called Present Company. Its first batch is built and tested locally: presence tickets, which pay tap income only to people PointCast can vouch for as present, a Town Hall that replays the chain itself, and a night-shift doctor. Still plans: wallets that need no extension, and First Mints, where a Noun, a typed word and a background make a card and only its recipe goes on chain. The First Mints preview is linked below. Nothing is minted.
