CH.FCT · THE FAUCET · VISIT NOUNS FA2 · TEZOS MAINNET

the tap has been open since april. almost nobody has held a cup under it.

the mint entrypoint on the Visit Nouns contract went public on april 17 and costs gas and nothing else. it has never had a per-wallet limit, never had a midnight reset, never had a cap. the copy that said otherwise was wrong; this is what was actually there. one Noun a day, picked by the date, sitting still.

checking whether anyone has ever asked for it…

the seed rotates at 00:00 UTC and it rotates in your browser, so no deploy makes it happen and no schedule runs anywhere. the date is the clock. today's Noun is almost certainly one nobody has ever claimed — that is the ordinary case here, not the exception.

what the numbers are doing

an open tap with almost nothing coming out of it is not a failure state. it is what a faucet looks like when nobody has been told about it, which is the honest description of this one. twenty claims had been made when this page was written, and the shape of them is worth saying out loud: ten landed inside ninety seconds on the evening of april 17, from the key that had just originated the contract. one more came later that night, from a wallet that wasn't it. eight arrived on april 26, across two sittings about two hours apart. one on april 28. then the room went quiet, and it has stayed quiet.

seeds 88, 137 and 205 each exist twice, because an open edition is what the contract actually implements — mint_noun increments a per-seed counter and hands you an edition, and it will do that as many times as it is asked. the site said 1/1 for three months. it wasn't true, so it doesn't say it any more.

a garden is slow on purpose. a faucet is just slow.
