It is read off the filesystem at build time, not typed by hand, so it cannot go stale. Agents get a machine twin at /everything.json. /attic is the kept past: the first ten blocks as they were, the quietest doors in town with their days-quiet counts, and the v1 box. Nothing is gone. It's just upstairs. Opening a quiet door counts as dusting. Census law: if it shipped, it's listed.
