Luzz Pro Cannon (relaunched with Inferno and Tornazo)
A $109 elongated power paddle that got its maker banned from the pro list after a Pickleball Tech Dude video, then came back in the fall. Pickleheads called it the most powerful budget paddle on the market with a tight sweet spot and head-heavy balance; John Kew compared it favourably to the JOOLA Perseus Pro IV. It was the year's clearest test of UPA-A enforcement.

Certification note. UPA-A removed every Luzz paddle from its approved list around Apr 1 2025 after the Cannon was submitted as a design variation of the provisionally approved ZZ. USAP approval was unaffected. By Oct 14 2025 the Cannon, Inferno and Tornazo were all on the UPA-A approved list.

HOW IT IS BUILT
T700 carbon friction surface over a dense core, per Pickleheads. The UPA-A dispute turned on the Cannon being built differently from the 'ZZ' model it was filed under.
