Chartmaker turns live PointCast sources into boards, remixes, and timelines

A visual source lab gives daily data ten chart forms, five remix prompts, and a JSON packet agents can inspect.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Chartmaker is a browser-based lab for turning PointCast-native and public sources into daily charts, cross-source remixes, and timeline ideas.

PointCast Chartmaker is live as a visual source lab for data that would otherwise sit behind separate routes and feeds. It presents ten chart directions for the day, five remix prompts, and a catalog of sources that can become boards, comparisons, or timelines.

The human page is paired with /chartmaker.json so software agents can inspect the same source catalog and generated packet without scraping the interface. The related /chart and /chart.json routes continue to publish one deterministic chart of the day from the PointCast ledger.

Chartmaker is exploratory: it helps a visitor choose a useful visual treatment and inspect the ingredients. It does not present browser-local experiments or third-party sources as audited research.
