EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The Saturday Atlas publishes the NCAA's 2026–27 Division I football-directory snapshot with a transparent PointCast top-25 overlay, explicit non-ranked browse order, official destination links, and local-only student tools.
The NCAA directory snapshot checked August 12, 2026 resolves to 266 Division I football programs: 138 FBS and 128 FCS. The directory records official name, subdivision, conference, state, public/private status, HBCU status, institutional website, and athletics website.
PointCast's current Board 000 occupies positions one through 25 in exact order. Positions 26 through 138 are the remaining FBS programs alphabetically; positions 139 through 266 are FCS programs alphabetically. Those 241 positions are browse order rather than a claimed football, academic, admissions, value, or student-experience ranking.
