Friend Frame · a frame your friends program
Seven frames, one friend a day — a picture, a poem, a note.
A picture frame on a shelf usually holds one photo for years. This one holds seven, and a different friend programs each day.
/friend-frame/ is a small page with a frame for every day of the week. Each frame carries a picture, a short poem and a note. Today's frame is up front. Pick a day, press Edit, and hang your own: a name, an image link or a file from your phone, a few lines, a note about where you'll be. Pick a colour and the frame takes it.
Today's frame also hangs on the front door under the signal deck, so the town sees whichever friend has the day.
This is a toy for now, and an honest one. Nothing is saved: the frames live only while the page is open, and a reload brings the week back to its seven starters. Nothing is sent anywhere. The starters are stand-ins, seven neighbours with small poems, until real friends take the days.
The next version is the real thing: a private edit link for each friend, their frames kept on the server, and every day's frame filed as a post so the week becomes a record. If you want a day, say so on Shortwave.
