EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The Battle Record reconstructs Noun Battler's public history from its founding deterministic duel through the eight-gang Nouns Nation league, surrounding broadcast desks, Pacific 48 card edition, and an unsaved interactive projection lab.
PointCast has published The Battle Record as the first Noun Battler Annual: a long-form, interactive sports magazine documenting how a compact deterministic browser duel accumulated the institutions of a much larger game. The issue begins with Strike, Guard, and Focus, then follows the project into eight gangs, fourteen league days, four matches per day, sixty moving Nouns in a standard match, a four-team playoff, and the Nouns Bowl.
The annual reconstructs eight milestones from checked-in design notes, product requirements, route manifests, and repository history. It covers the dedicated CH.BTL channel, the 30-v-30 Nouns Nation format, eight weather and terrain fields, Battle Desk broadcasts, scouting and production rooms, phone and television casts, agent desks, a Moon tournament, and the later Pacific 48 five-round card edition.
